The penalties are imo just a way the NFL can influence who they want in the SB or what "story" would line their pockets the most. Yesterdays game was a message from the NFL to us for sure imo. Today i watched the Rams Denver game.. rams were looking good, Denver however seemingly on a few very noticeable what should have been pass interference calls got away with a lot. Just as Denver is about to lose the game by 2 points, a successful conversion was called no good by a line judge on the opposite side of the end zone no where near the play nor in visible sight of the play due to players being in the way.. The pt conversion dude got in ball caught came down 1 foot 2 foot, then a Knee and a tagging by a Denver player quickly after during his slide out of bounds he let go of the ball, Now I always though that regardless ball broke the plan, was caught and he was downed before it went loose.. It was valid but apparently not so I learned some new stuff and was reminded of others i.e. The NFL's refs can and will influence the game how they want and between that call and yesterdays 14/182 .. Tells me even though we have a great team, some easy teams to play on the schedule the NFL is going to make it very very hard for us this year..
