lol after the A&M incident, I can't get particularly incensed if someone else uses the phrase. It's a fairly generic phrase to refer to the crowd - it's the fan culture of Seattle that has given it legs and uniqueness. Let 'em say what they want.

I thought I heard their stadium holds like 20,000 more than the Clink. But our home crowd tears it up

Wannabe's is all.

There's only one 12th man, and it's home is Seattle.

Ohhhh, and there is more. At the game yesterday before Skins players introductions they ran out w/ a little 12th Man flag. Ohh, I wish I had captured a pic of it. It was puny and a joke.

After the game we (myself, friend and a Seahawk Fan I met who was a Fox employee working at the game) laughed about their weak attempt of displaying "12th Man".

Sad, putrid display.

I thought we put in a copyright or something to that affect a year or two ago? Would that prevent other teams from displaying 12th Man?

Yep, their stadium is huge. Early in the game I heard their crowd and thought it sounded loud, but then Wilson started calling audibles and he was just too easy to hear, loud and clear! You would never be able to do that here. They need to step it up over there!

I think all teams call their fans the 12th man. Ours is just more widely known and celebrated.
