    It seems increasingly like 50+ yard field goals are no big deal. What changed? Saw another one last night to tie the game. I actually turned the game off with a little over a minute to go, thinking Tampa had it in the bag. Wrong…Saw the FG on replay.

    DK should have had the two points, but good chance we lose anyway. Defense sucked for both teams, but the Lions had a bit more in the tank at the end. What a waste of a beautiful game by Geno. He played at an elite level.

    Followed by a very impressive touchdown drive by the Hawks. Geno made some elite QB throws. I have been a Geno skeptic. Won't be able to stay one if he keeps playing like this.

    I have my doubts about Mayfield, too, but for next year he would probably be our best option if the price is right. We already know Smith and Lock are not starting material. They had plenty of opportunities to prove themselves and fell short consistentl.

    I would just note that the people running the Broncos are smart and capable. If Wilson was no longer an elite QB, they would not have traded for him. I always wondered if Carroll was too rigid in his approach, coaching to a system rather than to his team’s talents.
