    100% agree with this post.

THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE

Awesome! (That's a handsome newborn by the way, my kid looked like a shriveled rat. :) )

    Game Balls

Except for the Sherman INT, it really seemed like a team win and less about individual players. (Though I guess even on that interception, it was the pressure that forced Schaub to chuck that.)

Which moment sold you on Wilson?

Specifically, the post TD pass to Rice. From that point, he was the starter. No more questions or second guessing.

The more I see of him the better I feel

I hadn't seen much of Percy Harvin, but the way Hugh Millen was describing his physicality made me think of Marshawn Lynch, but as a receiver. Now I've seen some highlight videos, and it looks like an apt comparison. Look at the hit he absorbs at 3:35, then gets 20+ more yards. Dude is 24, and...

Why do you think Bevell put the training wheels back on RW?

All week we were told we could run on Atlanta's defense. I think we needed to at least try and make that happen with Lynch. If we gave up on it, and passed the ball instead, and the result ended the same? We'd all be bitching that we weren't devoted to running the ball. We passed the ball...

    Random Musings...

I'm hoping an off-season of training and preparation will mold Irvin into more of the player we want him to be. We knew from the get-go he was almost entirely raw talent, no need to give up on him now. That said, we still need more help on the defensive line. The biggest thing that sticks in my...

    Russell Wilson's marketability

And most importantly, he's all that AND he can actually ball. Unlike some other over talked about QB's in the NFL.

Why not run the clock down to, say, 17 seconds or so?

I think you'd bet on this defense stopping a team from kicking a FG w/ 0:26 seconds on the clock. Sucks how it ended up, but I don't think you can afford to stall to score a TD to win, like you would a FG.

Different ways to make the hurt go away...

Pantera and a trip to the gym. Helped, but still bummed out.

Cool Photos From Seahawks FB Page...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who fixated on her. Cool pics. Way more folks made it out than I expected.

Richard Sherman thinks Falcons have best tandem in league

Sherman always has nice things to say about wideouts he has respect for. He had similar comments prior to facing Megatron and Fitzgerald. It's only the punk-ass lesser talents talking mess (Garçon) that he saves his trash-talking for.

Last 3 HC eras, who gives the best pressers?

Man, how the hell is Pete beating out Mike? And by that much?! I like Pete just fine, but there was a wise, grandfatherly tone to Mike when he was here that I always enjoyed. I gotta think the same people who voted for Pete would also prefer RW3 over Hass in a presser, and that would be...

Sherman mic'd up (link with video)

You missed the line right before that: "You suck!" I'm happy to see that it was Trent Williams that stepped to Sherman. Basically a punk move, but he apologized. Also loved the mutual respect between RG3 and Sherman. Great stuff.

    Atlanta Falcons: Paper Tigers?

I'm worried about Gonzalez. This D does a poor job defending TE's and RB's out of the backfield IMO.

The D-Line Beasted AFTER Clemons goes down

Irvin definitely stepped up. He's been kinda invisible for a number of weeks. That sack was enormous, and was getting consistent push and pressure. BBBRRRRUUUUCCCEEE!!!

    Richard Sherman's Interception

Sherman said in post-game interview that it was a good play call, that he ended up w/ two responsibilities on that play and he had to make the choice of who to cover -- what turned out to be the right one. Dude is awesome.

imagine this team with stephen jackson

I've always like Jackson, but we already have our feature back in Lynch and Turbin looks to have a lot of potential. Why bother? Would rather spend FA cash on line help, or a WR.

Headline: Bound to fall?: Seahawks edition

Gotta' agree, this is annoying. Skins and Vikings get positive spins on their berths, we get this?

I freaking love this (new highlight vid)

Geez, that play by Browner vs. CAR on the option is unbelievable. Had forgotten about that. Can't wait to get him back.
