Signing DW to a deal is an investment in the continued pursuit of championships. We need to get creative with this one. He wants to be here, we want him here but he isn't giving us a Hall type discount. He wants a "haul" but not like Hall.

Maybe we can do fully guaranteed money, gas cards, season passes to the last season of Wild Waves and a time share in Fife. Also, a submarine ride with one of the crews from Bangor. I will gladly throw in my McDonald's Steve Largent glass, but he isn't getting my Mano Tuiasosopo glass...not happening!

I didn't think it was intentional bait and switch, but it's unintentionally worrying people.....and investment could have alluded to something else, like welp that's a ruined investment now that he's busted for DWI....another person has already replied confirming they thought the same thing. Just change it, dude.

That is why it says, "The last season". Additionally, the title of the post clearly said Investment which everyone read as "Intoxicated." Well I fixed that, but c'mon guys how about reading what it says. 200

I feel like we are back in 2006, without the 20 years of "Keep the subject line short" from Aros.

I am kind of shocked it hasn't been changed yet...but I think it will.

I am a minority opinion, but we need to slot pay based on what fits under the cap by rule. Greed must die, which is what it is. I AM DISRESPECTED because I am forced to live on 25 Milion per year.

Witherspoon and Christian Gonzales got the same agent. And the agent is a no frills type agent and they are looking to break the bank. Spoon, should rightfully so he compensated as such cause coverage wise and scheme wise, Spoon, is asked to do everything for this defense.

Spoon, will be not be cheap and his agent will definitely not take a discount.

A statement sounds more inevitable in contract discussions than a quick resolve.

It’s going to be interesting and probably Schneider’s greatest work in terms of contract dealings if Schneider can somehow get a favorable (as it can be) for Seattle while coming to terms with whatever Spoon’s agent is demanding.

You are not incorrect.

Having said that, imagine the guy that leaves Seattle over few million per year.

Hypothetically:

What can you do for yourself and family with 50 million that you couldn’t do with 45 million?

Q) Who is the guy that would rather play for the jets @ 50 per over the hawks at 45 per?

A) a complete A-hole

Then he wants money... not legacy... pretty simple

Everyone who says "derr he left for money" of course they did... they are playing a game.. for more money than we can ever fathom.. you really think these donks care about "rings" If they did.. theyd all take team friendly deals and win multiples

But like most of you say "get that bag" ya know.. for playing a fcking game. Yes.. I do lack respect for them. Sorry you were poor as a kid.. and now dont know how to spend the bag... but guess what.. so were most of us. Yet aren't that stupid to give it up for continuity

But hey.. 15 millions can lead a good life down in Kansas City
