I’ve only had negative feelings about two coaches in our history so I’m probably a bit biased but I do think we will see a ton of success here under our head coach and GM combo.

He's young. He has a plan. He holds people accountable in a good way (not just players, but holds coaches accountable to help players improve). All sustainable attributes, unlike the rah rah style. In fairness the rah rahs took us to two super bowls. I think Macdonald can take us to more.

I absolutely believe he will go down as the best coach in Seahawks history.
Objectively, 1 SB win in 2 years is the greatest coaching accomplishment this team has ever seen.

I want to see more but he’s off to almost as good of a start as you can get. Love where the team is now. How they buy in, practice, play, fight through adversity and play like “12 as 1” but I do need to see more still

Too early to say, but a pretty good start. Winning the Super Bowl in your second season is quite the achievement.

I agree he will go down as our best coach ever.
His message seems pretty simple and in my estimation a simple message has a much longer shelf life, and messages certainly have shelf lives.
Point in case - I feel like the "all gas - no brakes" super rah rah message that Detroit's coach espouses might be getting a little stale in their locker room.

"Rah-rah" coaching can only last so long before it stops being effective.
One thing we don't often think about is how well someone handles success is almost as important as how one handles failure. This season will tell us a lot about how MM will go down in Seahawk history. He's already top 2. Getting to and winning a 2d SB will catapult him into #1, yes?

The League will adjust. How will he adjust in response? Longevity in the NFL is very difficult. I'm anxious to see how he keeps the D unpredictable.

But can we talk about the most underrated aspect of coach Big Mac, which would be how handsome he is? My goodness, what a dreamboat. Those eyes, those demples, that chin… someone cool me down.
People thought McVay was good looking, Macdonald is like a 10/10 everyday, whereas McVay is an 8 on a good day.

I’m sold. Mac, has innovated ideas. And seems to be on the cutting edge of schemes and strategy. More importantly, he’s equally driven and brilliant like our GM is.
