What team do you watch during the season? We needed OL, DT, WR, TE, Safety (Apparently alot of you here think Coby Bryant at 190 lbs is Strong Safety material)

Oh god no.. we didnt draft 8 offensive linemen? The sky is falling!

The biggest weakness is the Oline and they only addressed it with one pick. WR's, TE's, and Safties are the easiest positions to plug and play and FA should take care of that. I'm not opposed to taking said positions in the draft, but for the love of goodness, pour resources into the biggest area of need.

This is going to turn out to be a bad draft.

I know most teams are screwed if their starting QB goes down, but wow, we'd be lucky to win 4 games with Lock/Milroe. I hope we've done enough to protect Darnold. I would assume that spending no free agent money, making no trades, and drafting just a single OL from the football powerhouse of North Dakota should be more than plenty.

Ask Keasley to do it. He brought it up.
JS was asked when the trade happened whether he was brought in to compete for starting spot and he said he was brought in to back up Geno. So the statement is coming from another Geno lover that can't stand that JS had the audacity to bring in a back up QB. Its silly and stupid. We needed a back up QB on a cheap deal due to cap issues and JS got one.
The hand wringing over Howell is so over the top here.

I'm just glad Sam Howell is gone so we don't have to endure any more nonsense posts ripping on the guy or JS etc. So much vitriol over something so little.

They also went out and got themselves new coaches and a new scheme for the offense. Unless we're saying that makes very little difference to how players perform effectively in their positions.
