Follow the smoke in the first round for the Seahawks. This has been the trend the last 3 drafts.

2022: Tons of smoke for Charles Cross. The word was the Hawks loved him.

2023: Seahawks loved Will Anderson and Devon Witherspoon. Tons of smoke for both guys. Same thing for JSN.

2024: Everyone and their mother were connecting Byron Murphy and the Hawks.

2025: Brady Henderson, Todd McShay, Tony Pauline, Matt Miller have all connected Grey Zabel with the Seahawks.

**Follow the smoke**

Do you have him dropping that far, or do you have Seattle making a rare round one trade up?
What I was thinking.. hes a top 10 pick... and to trade up capital for a DT over offensive line help... we would explode here..

I know there is a first time for everything, but I just can't see JS going IOL in the 1st. I honestly have no idea what they'll do though.

Starks

Id be happy with Zabel, but I think people are going to be surprised at how far he falls. I see him going with one of the last few picks of the first, maybe even lasting into the second.

I believe Starks fits something Mac very much covets. Im guessing it's him today and Milum is a priority tomorrow.

Could be. I mainly go by the consensus big board. But that board just combines all analyst's boards and does an average.

I was just looking at the 33rd team's big board and they have Zabel as the 51st overall rated prospect. I could see Starks as the pick too. But there are so many ways that they could go that I can't even guess at this point.

Daniel Jeremiah is mocking Zabel at #11 to SF. He's usually pretty good at guessing who goes in the 1st round.

I know we need IOL, but I really like the idea of Grant in the first. We have enough picks in the 2nd and 3rd to potentially trade up for an IOL we like. It is just not a very Seahawk thing to do.

I don’t see it being Zabel. Given John’s history and where Zabel is actually ranked in this draft.

I can see a trade back and nabbing him later though.

I.e., I have no freaking idea but going to say WR.

Emmanwori would be so disappointing, especially at 18. I don't think he's even a first rounder.
I agree. I like him but can't get behind him as our pick at 18. Starks yes, Emmanwori no. We do need a safety but I'm out on Emmanwori
