Ok, all you football junkies how is his game compared to Tyler Warren.? Sure would be nice to get a potential "great" TE for the first time. Would you like the Hawks to take him at 18.?
I’d pass on Loveland.Pass. Everything I’ve read talks about Loveland being a weapon in the passing game, but a liability when asked to block. The comp that keeps coming up is Kincaid. He’d be a luxury pick that I don’t think we could afford right now.
He’ll likely be gone, but Warren is the far better fit. His most common comp is Kittle.
Loveland may not be a great blocker but perhaps he wasn't needed for that, Michigan has been pretty stout upfront for several years, maybe he could be coached up. Either way I wouldn't just dismiss a very good receiving TE who ranks as high as he does:Pass. "Take offensive line or defensive line, always with your first round picks."I’d pass on Loveland.
I think tight end is a luxury pick on a team destined to run the ball and throw to JSN/Kupp before they target the tight end(s).
Which is why spending a first rounder on a tight end is not an efficient move, IMO.

Regular season games are won with scheme but playoff games are especially won in the trenches.
Seattle needs to reconstruct the trenches to be consistent playoff winners, first.
After how badly I whiffed on my analysis of Barner last year, I'm not judging these UM guys based on how they were used. I didn't get the impression Colston was necessarily a liability as a blocker, and the effort in that facet of his game appears to be there, but there's consensus that he needs to get stronger. He certainly has the frame for it.Loveland may not be a great blocker but perhaps he wasn't needed for that, Michigan has been pretty stout upfront for several years, maybe he could be coached up. Well if they think that, then the chances Warren drops to us increase then. From what I've been reading, a lot of teams think Colston is better than Warren. Now where these "teams" who feel this way line up in the draft no one knows but a lot of teams have Colston higher. I'm also hearing he probably won't fall to us at 18 so it won't even be an option.
Personally I think Arroyo in the 2nd is the perfect guy to take where need meets draft grade. I love Taylor because the lineage factor. His father was an amazing player and the sons typically come into the league even better. I'd be happy with either one, I just think Arroyo fits everything we want
I am going to go out on a limb and say that ONE of those two (Warren/Loveland) will be sitting there at #18.I'd be very excited if we drafted Loveland. Unlikely he falls to us though.
