I'm stoked. A lot of cap room. Geno gone, don't have to pay 30 mil a year for a QB. Coach should be able to build the team HIS way. Just like Pete did. I'm likely in the minority. But I'm stoked.
Your not alone here..I liked DK but enough to sell the farm. GeNo wasn't taking us anywhere.

100 percent exactly my thoughts man. It really, truly sucks Dk and Tyler are gone.. but I guess we will see what happens? It was awesome seeing the defense actually get BETTER last year as the season went on for once in the last what?? 12ish years? They are modeling this year just like 2011/2012.. I was pissed they cut Hass and signed Jackson, but I was happy with the results the next couple years.

I think we look like a bit of a joke organization right now. I don't think that this is a premier destination for players any longer due to the perception that you can't finish a career here or get extended reasonably if you become a star.

Winning cures all, but if they don't keep up the winning this year, I think it spirals fast and I think John Schneider gets canned which puts Macdonald on a hotter seat.

High, high leverage year in terms of determining the future trajectory of this organization. It feels like there's a void in the building that Pete used to fill. We're missing a glue guy to hold things together.

Big risks. Selling fairly low on big name players because they asked to get out after not being rewarded. That looks really, really bad if your bets don't turn into wins.
I'm kinda with you, but I don't view Geno or DK as "stars". Neither was even top 10 at their position. The only player I see on the team that could qualify is Leo Williams. Witherspoon and JSN are getting close and may end up there this year. The last star the Seahawks dissed was Sherman, imo.

Dare I say….get Cooper Kupp? I know it’s an absolute pipe dream he’d ever be traded in the division but I love that guy when healthy he’d be perfect.

I think there's a chance he's cut, and I think there's a chance he comes home for a year or two. And while he's not the all-NFL WR he used to be, I think he can offer another year or two of solid production.

I’m happy to finally rebuild this offense… get rid of guys who don’t wanna be here, we never would win a SB with GENO

I don't the Rams would care. He's not seen as an impact guy anymore

Our "Tyler Lockett" in some ways, with maybe a bit more gas in the tank than TL

Yeah but 3 years ago he was arguably the best a slot receiver in the game. Not only that he’s still got a loooot in the tank if he’s healthy and on his game. Puca changed everything in LA with how good he’s been as a mid round pick. I’d love that guy here. Give me him and Joey Bosa on 1-2 year contracts and it solves a ton of Seahawk deficiencies.

I'm loving it. BOLD, BOLD, moves, Cotton.... Let's see if it pays off for John!!
I'm in shock the team actually did this... move on from Geno, trade DK, but love that they're swinging for the fences!
As someone else mentioned, it has a 2010 season feel to it.

I expect JS to go get MikeMac some "Thumpers" on D (Chuck Knox term) and OLinemen as well. They can and should go Best Player Available so it will be an exciting draft, and we'll see what they do to beef up the trenches.

Same. I like a blank canvas and I think Mike deserves it. LFG.

My thoughts exactly! 👍

This is for our lovely owner Jody:

OK Jody, I know Schneider is not returning your calls, which is unforgivable. But for the love of .NET, please, please give him an additional couple of days.
