Mariners @ Padres KIRO Radio at 12 today

This is the beginning of the real future. It only took a decade for Dipoto to get to the beginning, remember way back when we used to have Robinson cano?Good luck to the 2025 cheap ass no chance mariners
Your comment reminds me of when the Chicago Tribune owned the Cubs they really didn’t care that much about team success they ran it like a business and knew people would still go to the games. North Chicago loves the CubsI think fan belief in the Mariners is at an all-time low. Even with my low expectations, I was shocked at how little the Mariners did in the off-season.
So of course, this is the year they will win the World Series.
As frustrated as I am about the lack of spending, I saw that Fangraphs has ranked the Mariners as the 4th best team in the American League this year. Crazy.
Clark and Addison always has the heart of Chicago no matter who owns them.Your comment reminds me of when the Chicago Tribune owned the Cubs they really didn’t care that much about team success they ran it like a business and knew people would still go to the games. North Chicago loves the Cubs
Been a fan for many years, a lot of you have not seen a really bad team.I'll look at box scores and follow the standings. If they're truly in it at the all-star break, I'll start paying more attention. I'll ramp it up if it looks like they're going to win the division in late August/September. I'll watch all the playoff games if they make it in. I won't attend a single game live and in person.
What can I say? They've turned me into a fair weather, bandwagon fan.
I grew up a die-hard Cubs fan, went to and watched more games than I can count. Knew everything about the team. When I moved out here for good, I switched allegiances eventually to the M's. I was a big fan during the Griffey, Buhner, Martinez, Johnson years and beyond, even split season ticket packages for a few years.Been a fan for many years, a lot of you have not seen a really bad team.
As a kid, I was just happy we had a team and baseball was fun.
It's funny we are like reverse experiences..I grew up a die-hard Cubs fan, went to and watched more games than I can count. Knew everything about the team. The M's year after year after year of incompetence eventually got to me. I've seen plenty of bad teams as a loyal baseball fan of my teams since I was a kid. I just got too old to put up with cheapness, incompetence, and an ownership that didn't want the team to win as much as I did.
I get what you're saying. We can't compete with the tippy-top of payroll teams. That's unrealistic. But the thing is, we've GOT the staff to be a dangerous playoff team now if we'd just have added a couple of decent bats while our staff is still a reasonably priced one. But I'm just speaking what everybody already knows about this team and its ownership and general management. It's funny we are like reverse experiences..
I grew up an Ms fan and moved to South Bend where WGN and the Cubs
grew on me.. I have been to Wrigley a few times and consider the Cubs my
NL team.
I get your frustration and not going to tell you how to fan, I just know $$$ wise
it's hard to spend up to the Yankees and Dodgers to compete on that level.
He was up during that circus base running playLazaro in the line up today
It's not that they're bad. It's that they're never good. And that's worse. 21 years without even a sniff of the postseason. You almost have to try to suck that long.Been a fan for many years, a lot of you have not seen a really bad team.
As a kid, I was just happy we had a team and baseball was fun.
Addiction sucks.I think the craziest thing to me is that there are betting odds for preseason (spring-training) baseball games.
You must have not seen Fords hit.Moore and Haniger. Lmao.
Dunn having amazing at bats so far.
Ford with a hit and RBI.
