It’s not Geno’s fault. But in the same way that Denver media will say Russ isn’t the problem, he’s just not the solution. I feel that’s true here.
The pairing of Waldron and Geno feels like an offense with a lot of stuff it can do, but no heart or identity. We are so quick to give up on...
I will also make a Geno thread titled:
“Geno is a good NFL QB with an ability to squeeze every drop of goodness out of an offense and people should go listen to the Athletic Football Pod’s Week 9 Preview to hear why Geno is a good QB. That said, Geno has athletic limitations to his game that...
2019 was, in my eyes, the very best season of Russ. And the one season where the roster was truly in shambles around him.
Watching an injured Josh McCown outrun Ziggy Ansah was painful. Watching Malik Turner drop a perfect 3rd Down pass from Russ which would’ve sealed the Green Bay game and...
Ravens are #1 in overall DVOA, #4 in Offensive DVOA, #1 in Defensive DVOA. It will take a perfect game for Seattle to steal the win.
31-24 Ravens with Seattle scoring the final TD in the last min of the fourth and failing on a desperation onside kick.
Raw numbers don’t tell the story.
Sean Payton is running an offense that would make Hawk fans lose their minds. It’s 2018 on steroids. Russ barely broke 100 yards passing. He completed like 12 passes.
I’m actually envious of that offense and would love Seattle to play more smash mouth...
That’s fair. I wouldn’t have a hated a trade up for AR. I think, if he stays healthy, he has Top 2 QB Talent.
But I felt the roster still needed a deep infusion of young players on rookie deals so I think not trading up was the better process long term.
You can go back and see me pounding the table for Richardson. So believe me, I’d have loved him in Seattle.
But trading up would’ve likely cost them Witherspoon, next years first, and DK (to go up to one with similar compensation as Carolina) and Arizona wouldn’t have traded with a division...
