    I'm reading ZTF got no UDFA offers. Is that correct? Did he shoot a puppy? What's going on? He's a great pass rusher coming off an injury, but still a great pass rusher (weirder that his teammate got drafted in the 5th!)

    The owner probably forced them to get Cousins so they had a QB to sell to the fans. But that guy is a 12 year vet with ONE playoff win. He won't get another....no matter who you draft. (That Vikings team was stacked. The weak link was Cousins) Not trusting Cousins made sense.

    Cousins is a 3 team vet with less than 3 total playoff wins. But the money was already spent. You don't compound that mistake by not trying to get better. Penix will likely be better. So the pick makes sense to me, even if signing Cousins in the first place didn't.

    I suspect we will find out that a big part of why FSU was even as good as it was ended up because of Verse. I wanted him for that reason. He wrecks games. Now we likely have to contend with that.

    There were two guys I wanted the Rams not to get. 1. Penix 2. Verse Verse is probably going to be a thorn in our side for years. Probably wreck us as much or more than Donald (Donald was better but you can hold DTs, harder to hold a DE without getting noticed). Ick.

    I'm leaning that way too. I love Texas DTs. Guys like Sam Adams worked out great for us. Wanted nothing to do with Dallas Turner, so could be worse. But Stuff about his iffy work ethic and taking plays off is worrisome. Lack of work ethic rarely works out for anyone. Let's hope that stuff...
