Conflict of interest or due diligence? Either way at the end of the day Mike Macdonald coached the Seahawks to a Super Bowl championship in his second season as a head coach. I will never fault a guy for utilizing resources. Or even mentioning them.

I think some of you are kind of missing my point. Why even mention the term conflict of interest? I’m sure it’s not a true conflict of interest, but there’s probably a better way of saying it.

"Conflict of interest" was a poor choice of words, but he's a young guy who hasn't done a ton of interviews and probably just got caught up in a relatively casual conversation with a popular radio personality. I think we've all been there on much, much smaller scales. I'm sure he learned from it.

I assume he's only talking about it now because he feels bad that Brady is getting some crap from Boston sports fans. Not to paint with too broad a brush, but every Boston sports fan is an awful person.

Obviously not a big deal, just a learning experience about potentially divisive phrases.

He mentioned it because he knows it’s going to be a public comment, and there are a ton of asshats out there that will make a mountain out of molehills.

It happens here all the time here at .net, it happens on the internet a million (literally) times a day.

It’s all a nothing burger and there’s really no reason (IMO) to even have a conversation about it.

MacDonald has stated it wasn't Brady. I can understand Pats fans not believing him, but we know him well enough to know he wouldn't unequivocally lie to the world.

I'd guess it's someone tied to Drake Maye judging how he was completely rattled. Maybe someone from NC or from a QB camp or bowl or someone who noticed something along the way. My next guess would be Dianna Russini because ,"if I'm not getting a ring, neither is Vrabel."

I think it was strategic retaliation for Kraft releasing the team sale news pre SB. Vrabel's urges already have NE in chaos...and now they're hunting for a mole.

In the meantime, MM has already developed 4 game plans for week 1.

$100 on the hawks covering the spread week 1 is getting strong consideration.

Even IF he talked to Brady, who cares? He's the fricken GOAT. Who wouldn't want to ask that guy about the big game?

Brady is three years removed from NE. What could he possibly say to help? 🤷‍♂️
