If you have two challenges at the last inning and you dont use them... you might as well just not challenge ever FFS

Another quality start (technically). Kirby having trouble missing bats, though.

Continued offensive ineptitude. Some hard hit balls, but a lot of at'em shots.

Dropped the series. Tomorrow is another day. Starting to feel like the boys are already in All-Star break mode.

I mean seriously, I’ve been a fan since I was 8 yrs old, there was decades that I didn’t miss a bobble head and many seasons I watched EVERY game, I watched Felix hit a grand slam off johan, and I was in the nose bleeds at the King’s Supreme Court after the perfect game. I watched Richie sexon charge the mound and swing his helmet, he missed, I asked don wakamatsu if chone figgins could play short stop and I didn’t ask Milton Bradley for an autograph at spring training. I even got a J.J. Putz bobble head.
The point is, I haven’t watched a game in a week or more, I watch with one eye open, often I’d rather play madden than watch this mess, it makes me sad. C’mon Dan throw away the IPad and play ball already, and trade Kirby before he quits on us

"Quality start" ROFL

Cole Young not challenging.. is literally the most.. terrible "word" remark I can make

This is definitely not a playoff team. I mean I know they've had the worst injuries to key players all year and are still treading water hovering around .500 but they just don't have it this year

I qualified my comment. Saying it was technically a quality start it true. 6 innings, 3 runs or less. 🤷‍♂️

And yeah, Young should have challenged that last pitch. Shit happens.

Honestly, I’ve stopped watching every game because I got tired of expecting more when they’re just an average team. I still check the score every day, though. I think they can still put together a good second half of the season, but something has to change.

That's exactly IT.... They DON'T have it this year. That's why when you actually supposedly have a chance, you go all in. Unlike these jokers, who always say "we're a year or 2 away, so we'll bring in Cameron Maybin & Zach Duke". They should've went all out last year during the off-season of 2024 going into 2025, that way they could've made better deals going forward. It's very apparent, they targeted Brendan Donovan some time ago, but couldn't get him at their price until he was damaged goods & now they're paying for it.

I stopped following the M's ages ago, but I like to pop on here to see how the die hards are holding up. Good on all ya'll for sticking with is, I just couldn't, lol. It was always the same thing every year, and it just wasn't worth it for me. You'd know they would start hot, go into the break, and then fall apart the second half of the year. Like clock work.

Stoked you folks got a nice little playoff run and thought maybe they'd finally turned a corner, but it seems likr that was an outliet season. Still very cool though.

I found this piece of memoribilia at work and I thought it perfectly summed up the organization as a whole. A silver plated coin commemorating a no-hitter by 6 players. Not a single pitcher...but the whole stable. I could see this as a cool story for a week.to talk about, but the team went all in on it. Just summed up how I felt about the team, that a pretty mid achievement would be such a big deal for them. Seems like things will never change.

Keep on keeping on, I'm rooting for you guys to finally get thr payoff ya'll deserve. You will have earned it!

I've maybe watched a total of 1 game all season. An inning here, an at bat there. I said at the beginning this team was going to be about .500 at best. Still got time but looks to be the case from what I am reading on here. They need hitters that can get on base often. Not once every 8 at bats. I'm actually enjoying not paying attention to them at all for once. Same shit different year. Last year was a complete anomaly.

This is a team built around winning with good defense and meh-whatever offense (sound familiar?).

Well down by 5 runs in the 4th. Game over.
ONCE AGAIN our SUPERIOR starter gets outpitched by some unknown bum. This guy tonight that the M's can't score against is a junk thrower named Junk & fresh of the IL. Gonna get swept AGAIN.

They need to fire DiBozo the 🤡 & start selling. This is nowhere near a World Series team.
