Agreed
And I totally trust Schneider to get this done and have a deal that's great for both sides!

Not much pressure for Spoon to get this done now, unless they send an offer that blows him out of the water. I sure wouldn't settle if I were him. It'll only get higher the longer he waits.

I'm really confident they'll get this done. You can really see the tenets of JS's roster strategy this offseason. Sign the stars, sign the role players to manageable contracts, sign veteran pass rushers, and let the mid tier talent go sign expensive contracts and recoup comp picks. Derick Hall is interesting, because he's the one guy that straddles a lot of that. I think he's a super important culture guy as well.

John will have Spoon signed soon. Guaranteed before camp. He's got about a month and a half to hash out a deal that works for both sides so let's not lose our shit over this. Soulfish hang in there bud. We got this!!!

From what I have heard Spoon shares the same agent with the Patriots Gonzalez which there is speculation that this is slowing down the process. Both are talented young CBs that are going to get paid the big question is which player gets the bigger contract
