At least he's around the squad during a time of turmoil in his career after a rookie year plagued by injury. He's 6th or 7th string right now. Shaheed is the much better option after JSN and Kupp. Horton can't even sniff Bobo's jock. Let's pump the brakes on Horton's ass until we know the full scope of the ankle injury and if he can cut out of routes anymore200

I think @FrodosFinger (Hi there!) forgot about that.

You say Shaheed is better? Well he's a vet and an all-pro so he better be better.

But after the numbers Horton gave last season before his injury, I wouldn't exactly pump the brakes.

Maybe put the car at 80 mph instead of 100. ;)

Horton has proven his abilities and potential. I'm not going to be concerned about an injury until there's something to be concerned about. At best, his role will be limited to some degree naturally due to what appears to be a well stocked WR room. To his advantage we don't need to see what he has got in TC, or even preseason, since we already know the potential. Bring him along slowly...plenty of time yet.

... What?

Its not like hes Joey Galloway.. but for five games he has great stats and TD production.. its PROMISING

Other Rookie for us to have a great five game stretch for KW

(outside of Galloway which had a nasty run as a rookie)

I know. I remember after the Pittsburgh game thinking Horton is our answer as a long term number 2 receiver but it hasn't panned out

Not truly necessary to pump the brakes is it?

If he can stay healthy he’s a solid addition to the WR corps. If not, he’s a 3rd day draft pick that is unreliable but potentially good when healthy.

He was hurt a lot in college and missed most of last season, hopeful he can find a way to stay healthy but his injuries have made that somewhat questionable.

The team either gets a positive contribution from him that missed last year or not. Hopefully he stays healthy.

Or...hear me out....get him 100% healthy and then pedal to the floor.
Not the brake pedal.
You know.
That other one that makes him go - not stop.
