Lomu could slide right into the guard position.

32 Caleb Lomu
OT | Utah

64
Derrick Moore
EDGE | Michigan

96
Malik Muhammad
CB | Texas

188
Demond Claiborne
RB | Wake Forest
I'm not sure Lomu lasts until the #32 pick. So many teams need an OT.

I like some parts of Derrick Moore's game. He's just so inconsistent.

I like Muhammad. He's a fine option.

Claiborne reportedly has coach-ability issues according to Bob McGinn and scouts.

I was using a mock draft and taking available players without trades. I appreciate your comments.

Very realistic draft projections. Do they also reflect your desires, or are these predictions?
It reflects the options I chose from in a mock draft. I would take Lomu at 32 if he's available.

Bud Clark sounds like a name a racecar/sailboat racer or professional bowler would have. But at least it's an actual pronounceable name!

I'm getting addicted to these mock draft simulators. When Pete was in charge of the draft I was never confident in the process because we would trade down for a lot of picks and leave some gems behind. We also would take risks on head cases who were gifted athletically (ie. Malik McDowell). I feel better now that character plays such an important part in the selection. With all the work that is going into this draft, I am confident that we will find 4-5 great players and we will address our needs. I also have a feeling that if we completely miss on a RG, Joel Bitonio will be a June 1st pickup. I wonder if the Hawks are hiding their desire for a RG as a draft strategy.

My latest mock draft seems highly unlikely, but would leave me with a big smile.1776727351762
