They were all dudes tonight. That reverse down the right side. 3 OL were 25 yards down field clearing space.
Yes, they are dudes! Can't tell you how nice it is having a legitimate OL these days, and I think it will be even better this coming season. Feels like finally coming upon an actual reservoir of pure drinking water in a vast desert that is not a mirage.
Speaking of OL, crazy watching how much Abe pushes himself...
His repair was January '24, over two years ago. He absolutely should be able to tolerate this kind of routine by now. It's less stress than on the field.I’ll be honest, having torn an ACL myself while playing football , I do not agree with this training routine. He’s not wearing any knee brace whatsoever and with someone who had serious knee issues, this is a high risk training routine.

We got spoiled by Jones and Hutch, people think thats the norm.Looking at the back end of the season and playoffs, I don't see the pressing need to replace Bradford with a rookie.
I'm all for bringing guys in, draft or FA - whatever - to camp to compete. In my experience fans are always a year or two behind in evaluating player development. I blame fantasy football, where people seem to expect instant production from new players which is unrealistic in the real world, especially for o-linemen. An o-lineman who comes in a contributes immediately is rather a rare occurrance in the NFL. Usually it takes 2-3 years to reach full effectiveness. Bradford just finished his 3d year, so he's more or less on track.
And now Zabel. We got spoiled by Jones and Hutch, people think thats the norm.
that’s the first thing I thought that movement is hard on knees, healthy, or not and after having two meniscus surgeries, I don’t think I could ever attempt thatI’ll be honest, having torn an ACL myself while playing football , I do not agree with this training routine. His issue is lateral movement when it comes to Pass-blocking.That video with all of Bradford's mistakes cut up has an overly negative effect on people's opinion of Anthony. I know it effected my judgement.
But I went back and watched more "film" on him and the power that he has is amazing. I think if Bradford keeps the starting gig, he'll get better at it as his body and muscle memory help him perform without thinking.
Add to that, the Seahawks coaches know better who should be the starter than I do.
IMHO, our Oline's success is a direct result of Pete being gone. We are investing in linemen that in Ray Robert's words, "have a Phd at their position." AND, we have an actual offensive line coach. Tom Cable took advantage of Pete's good nature and was selecting garbage OLinemen, while Pete was not putting enough importance on investing there.
