Aaron Glenn says QB Geno Smith will lead Jets to 'promised land'
Jets coach Aaron Glenn declared Tuesday that quarterback Geno Smith is "the guy that's going to lead us to the promised land."
Come on now, he did okay the first 2 years or maybe it just seemed that way because we expected him to suck.Pete couldn't get anything out of him; I don't see much changing.
His old coach traded for him.. and he still crapped the bed... not sure what kind of confidence a crap franchise and give himCan't blame him for trying to show confidence in him. No one buys it but maybe Geno will and that's all he needs to really buy it.
Maybe the promised land is the #1 pick in the next draft. He already succeeded once at doing that.If Glenn's idea of "The Promised Land" is 4 wins, sure, I could see it.
And it would be funny if both Sayin and Moore opt to return to school, to avoid the jets.Maybe the promised land is the #1 pick in the next draft. He already succeeded once at doing that.
Agreed. Pete Carroll got fired from two different teams with Geno as their QB. I won't be surprised if Glenn is the next to experience that same fate. He’s only leading Glenn to being fired.
Pete got fired on his own merits. That is in no way an endorsement of Geno, but it is a fact.Agreed. Pete Carroll got fired from two different teams with Geno as their QB. I won't be surprised if Glenn is the next to experience that same fate.
I was talking about his year with Pete on the Raiders.Come on now, he did okay the first 2 years or maybe it just seemed that way because we expected him to suck.
