It might be a worse experience to occasionally be decent and then immediately return to suckitude instead of being guaranteed to suck. I mean, it's one thing to suck and be hopeless. You know what you're getting into from the start. It's another to suck and have hope ripped away 1-2 times a decade like Cleveland does.

As some of you may know, I have a daughter who is a Jets fan and she likes the trade. I don't think it's great for Geno, but I think it's not a bad option for the Jets. Justin Fields was not going to get it done.

(Do I think it's going to be good? Not really, but I'll root for him anyway.)

Oh the irony...

This guy wanted to leave, we wanted to keep him but he wanted to leave. We grant him his trade to the Raiders, he wins as many games as we lost all year: 3! Now we're sitting on a Superb Owl win with Darnold and he is going to the perennial worst most dysfunctional team in the league. The same team which started both said quarterbacks on terrible career trajectories...

So Raiders send Geno, a 7th and pay his salary to the Jets in return for a 6th, so in reality they paid the Jets to take him off thier hands and are eatinmg it like a Bronco
