Weren't people here wanting Fields?

I did 3-4 years ago after the bears cut him. But that was only to compete with Genooo. But I’ve been a know Geno hater since forever, so anyone with a pulse I was willing to give them a shot to compete with him. But not recently

This is an owner problem as seen by the decades long string of short term GMs and HCs. Like Saleh, Glenn has outsourced how to build an offense because he has no idea how to do it. And like Rodgers last year, Fields now looks totally incompetent. Them giving Fields $30m in guarantees vs the 8 Russ got? Just Jets things.

I watched the Jets game, and yes, Fields is bad, but the OC is not using him properly, either. They don't take advantage of his main asset, his legs. No designed runs, no RPOs, no bootlegs, and it looks like they discourage him from running even when the pocket has collapsed and he has the whole field in front of him.

Aaron Glenn brought Tanner Engstrand, the Lions passing game coordinator, with him. Unfortunately, Fields is not Jared Goff.

It's a dumpster fire, again.

In all fairness it sounds like they’ve got some teenage gamers setting the lineup and even with that I would expect better.

Dysfunctional from the top down. It’s the American way.

The Jets are the worst franchise in the league for a QB to play for. Whether it's the HC, the OC, both or just the assinine, powderkeg of a football fan environment NY is, it just doesn't work. Favre was the most successful in recent years and that was because he gave the system the middle finger and did what he wanted (and it still barely worked). Next? Sanchez. But he wasn't actually expected to save the franchise - just not screw up. Pennington gave it a go and did ok but ended up with an injury shortened career as a result of trying to win there. Geno, Darnold, Wilson and now Fields ... All ground-up and left for dead by that clown show of a system. The annointed one, AR even went full terard there. It's a QB black hole.
