I have seen a lot of valid concerns expressed about the current roster situations that are stressing some fans.
I don’t subscribe to the fears. I believe in the player acquisition personnel to improve the roster over time.

You don't get bonus fan points or a bedazzled 12 plaque for being the person who questions the team the least.

I suspect things will continue to go well for at least the near future, but if I see potential liabilities in the team staying on top, I'm going to express those, not because I'm a lesser fan or want to see the team fail, but because I genuinely enjoy diving into the deeper aspects of what's going on.

Yep, there will always be concerns, that's part of it. But someone isn't less of a fan if they're positive either. We all look at how we do. I don't get the doom and gloom thing, I never will. But that's just ME.

I'm pretty stoic and introverted in real life, and mostly lack an inate ability to get over-the-top excited about anything. Stating that I'm content with the direction of the team and generally believe in the personnel to sustain at least short-term success, while exercising some cautions that allow me to get into the nerdy analytical stuff I enjoy is about as positive as I get.

After seeing the uptick in the last couple years, I trust in Mike Macdonald and John Schneider keeping the Seahawks in contention.
I'm not into borrowing a bummer mindset.

As the team continues to evolve through free agency and the draft, I am cautiously optimistic that both our current question marks under contract and free agents across the league will be motivated to be part of what we are. This could lead to more team friendly deals and players with “prove it” years n front of them to recognize that Seattle is a “get right” place to go.
This is especially true on defense since Mike is the coach. If we had retained Klint then I would think it would be even more true on offense than it currently is.
That said, I believe that John is beginning to be recognized as a trusted person to solve roster and coaching issues. If BF works out as well as KK then I see this franchise becoming a long term contender and blue blood franchise for the next two decades.
