Love that the team is going all in on Mike Mac's messaging.

As for K9...
NE's defensive strength is stopping the run.

Let's hope we can shake K9 free for some explosive plays but more than likely, Sam will have to dish it a bit. As long as he keeps it mistake free with high percentage throws, we should be able to attack the middle of the field against their defense.

I expect K9 to go off for over 100 yards, due to fresh legs and his fire and intensity that we all saw these past 2 games. He was playing like a man possessed and I don't think he stops this Sunday.

This is simply not true. It is a media generated BS narrative. They were horrendous against the run week 9-17. They were good after that because they played back up running backs or one dimensional teams.

  • Late Regular Season (Wk 9-17): Struggled significantly, allowing 452 rushing yards before contact (ranked 31st in the league).
  • Playoffs Turnaround: The defense tightened drastically, allowing only 71.3 rushing yards per game in the postseason, a key factor in their run to Super Bowl LX.
The playoffs "turnaround" is obviously because of their opponents, yet people buy this great run defense nonsense because that is what they are told. K9 will demolish them.

I heard that the warmest playoff game they played in was 35 degrees. Cold weather games are where offenses often play more ball control such as short passes and running the ball. This allows defenses to really focus on smaller area of field similar to how teams operate closer to the goal line. This often results in a lower ypc.

Funnily enough whenever I hear the weather stat it’s used to say how their offense should be able to play better but then they mention the defense and all the talk is about how they did in the playoffs.

Yeah, I feel like the media is just driving a narrative to make it seem like these teams are close.

Plus, a lot of media hate when the Hawks win. Especially those who created a FAKE NARRATIVE about Sam.
Which will make this sweeter when they hoist that trophy.
