I’m aware. They aren’t for sale until after the Super Bowl. Seems like feelers may have gone out but nothing official yet
Still sucks (IMO) that the news came out today.
No way it’s not at least a minor distraction.

Ok, PM me with one NFL owner you think does not care if the team wins or not.Not living under a rock is how I do me. You keeping doing you though.
Ballmer is running his other team into the ground. They might have the bleakest future in their league.Complete guess on first two candidates I think of here:
Jeff Bezos or Steve Ballmer

Mike Brown. I think they'd all LIKE to win, because it helps the value of their product, but you're insane if you think they're going to spend, spend, spend and make less money in the process. These guys aren't spending their own money for upgrades. Look at what David Tepper has been doing. Look at the Dallas Mavericks.Ok, PM me with one NFL owner you think does not care if the team wins or not.

It says not for sale right now. Not that they won't be after the super bowl. Careful wording/damage limitation.![]()
Paul Allen's estate says Seahawks are 'not for sale' after reports of plans
Multiple news outlets reported Friday that the team will go on the market after the Super Bowl, an idea contradicted by a statement from Paul Allen's estate.www.king5.com
What do you think Bezos' finances are going to do for the team that the finances of an owner worth "only" 100B isn't going to do? Bezos can't outspend the salary cap. His history sure doesn't indicate that he's going to foot the bill himself on anything he can get taxpayer money for. He's all about increasing his net worth. I don't want that kind of owner. Does he even care about football?I don’t disagree. He also has proven to be a very hands on owner. I really want the closest thing we can find to a heavily invested, but hands-off owner - we’ve been so fortunate with the Allen era. Put this operation in Schneider’s control and let the man have control. Stay away.
In a perfect world Bezos finances and would prove to be this kind of owner but no one really knows.
Analytics and facilities would be my hope. Extra coaches. You still need upfront cash to get players as well not just cap space which is why the Raiders and Bengals struggle at points. What do you think Bezos' finances are going to do for the team that the finances of an owner worth "only" 100B isn't going to do? Which is why it sucks ot came out today but since it’s not for sale I imagine there will be a lot of talk about it but I don’t think it will keep the players from focusing on the next game.
Anyone who can buy a football team can afford those things. By and large, they're not spending their own money on them.Analytics and facilities would be my hope. Extra coaches. I'd invest 2 Grand to be a minority owner of the Seahawks tbh.It would take 4 MILLION people putting up 2 grand each to equate $8B
And for that reason, I’m out.
Agreed. Stupid. They should still win the owl thoWhy the f announce this the week of the SB. It’s a distraction.
