To win or lose the Super Bowl, how confident are you?

I have no stats or data to back this up, but I kind of feel like he's our weak link and this scenario scares me. Luckily I think we're going to win by 2+ touchdowns.

My brain tells me to trust Myers because of his stats. My gut tells me otherwise. Idk why, but he makes me nervous

Not Myers, that damn stadium has been a Kicker Killer, Jason needs to study the wind patterns both ends before we play, it swirls and pushes balls a lot there.

Santa Clara does get quite gusty on some days....I'd be nervous if it came down to the wire on his kick...not going to lie

I'm good with Meyers. His end-of-season % wasn't great, but outside of a whiff here and there he was pretty consistent. And he did lead the league in attempts this year; generally speaking with most kickers when you expand the attempts their accuracy % gravitates to the mean. Week 18 vs San Fran was somewhat of an anomaly.

Interesting question, J.

I trust him. He bounced back after several misses in the 9ers game. He'll have a couple weeks here to make sure that kick swing is grooved.

A double doink, upright to upright, and then it goes inside. Hahaha.

But seriously, in my reality, Jason ain't needed, and still gets to put a ring on it.

Jason Meyers is the least of my worries, at least as far as FG and XP duties goes.

One thing that gets overlooked is kickoffs, something that I hope he's doing a lot of in LX. If he can peg his kickoffs to land in "the landing zone" instead of being brought out to the 35 or 40 yard line, it gives our defense an extra 10-20 yards to work with on the next possession.

I have no concerns about Jason Myers. He's one of the best in the NFL. He used to miss extra points, but he fixed that somehow.
