I have been checking out some of the teams forums that still don't have a coach.

Cards
Browns
Raiders

It is almost sad to read some of their posts. Lamenting that no one wants them. The disillusionment is so strong.

Those three franchises are the poster children for "Dumpster Fire".

We are so lucky to be fans of a well run franchise.

The Raiders might actually end up getting a decent hire. People must be really high on Mendoza.

The other two, yeah, nobody wants those jobs.

Yeah, we've got it pretty good up here, even in the "down years". Actually, we're kinda spoiled when you think about it, all things considered. It makes up for getting our Sonics stolen, and the Mariners 🤪
No it doesn't, don't forget the Pilots.

Honestly, I'm shocked anyone is a fan and would waste their time on them. Just switch to another team FFS.
Mannnnn. Living in Ohio, I see a lot of Bengals fans…and ever so often, a Browns fan.

Bengals fan are in constant uproar…especially with Taylor still leading the charge. Burrow, whom I do consider the best QB in the league, is glazed so hard it makes you dislike the guy a little.

The Browns fan(s) 😂🤣😭, it’s fkng depressing bro. I’ll be talking about wins/losses, they’re celebrating a Myles Garret sack. Like… singular plays.

I’m with you…I know people don’t want to be fair weather fans but FFS…if the organization and/or ownership are consistently shit, do they deserve your fandom???

It’s the same with teams like the Raiders….

November 30, 1992, Monday night vs Broncos. 2-14 season. Buddy and I were there, screaming the whole game. We lingered in our seats until the dome was practically empty, just soaking in the good vibes, cause they were on short supply. King beers helped too.

I quit watching the nfl completely after we lost to Pittsburgh in the superbowl. Kinda funny, I saw the Hawks made the playoffs with a losing record and they were against the saints. I though ahh dang, they are going to get their butts kicked lol.

It ended up being on at the gym that day and I was watching them play pretty damn good! Went to a friend's house to finish it up and saw beast quake there. Got me hooked again, even after they lost to the bears the next week lol. I havent missed a draft since then.. and my dumbass wanted that qb from Arkansas I believe? Can't remember his name. Im pretty sure we picked Carpenter that year. And a lot of other super good players haha

I don’t think it works that way. I guess if you don’t have a team you could pick and choose but don’t fool yourself you’re not a real fan. It’s geographical determinism. You support your God given team. If you aren’t miserable most of the time are you really a fan? Can’t appreciate the high times if you didn’t suffer thru the bad timed. 1990s anyone?
