Same here. I swear my vision went blurry during the kickoff return. The fact that my voice is still toast and it's Wednesday, I suspect many feel the same.

when KC set the record, they did a countdown from 10. they let the crowd know when The Guiness Book people were going to take the reading and the coordinated the crowd. Ours was taken live, during the game without any notice.
That is true, however Guinness went to lumen and did the same countdown and we didnt get it.when KC set the record, they did a countdown from 10. they let the crowd know when The Guiness Book people were going to take the reading and the coordinated the crowd. Its not like they are louder per person. Humans have a range of noise they can make. Its the design.
So after the chiefs game with the countdown record they went to Seattle the next week. They did the same countdown and we didnt get it.There was no countdown at the Seahawks game, I was there.

My in laws are Rams fans but thats from when the team played in Anaheim and they used to cycle over to practices as kids in the 80s and early 90s. They kind of just stuck with them once they left. The Rams have one of the smallest fan bases in the NFL, and most of them still live in St. Louis. I don't think they travel well, and I predict there will be fewer LA fans this week than there were 49er fans last week.
I live in LA, and I have never met a Ram fan. I know more Charger fans, and there are still a lot of Raider fans. They still televise most of the Raiders games here in LA, which really pisses me off.
LA is a Dodgers and Lakers town. When the Rams play at home, they have to deal with crowd noise. One game this season was estimated to have 61 percent opposing fans:

‘SoFi will be mostly 49ers fans’
The home attendance problem is still a problemwww.turfshowtimes.com
Back in 2002, when my local Aussie rules club (Sturt) won the Premiership, after a 26 year drought, I arrived at work on the Monday, unable to speak at all. My boss insisted I was very ill, despite my croaky protestations that I was fine, and sent me home! The fact that my voice is still toast and it's Wednesday, I suspect many feel the same.
I think you are misremembering. Seahawks didn't have a home game the week after the Chiefs broke the record.
I am a season ticket holder, didn't miss a game during this time period. There were no countdowns for any record attempts with the Seahawks.
So here is a video of it. The testing guy hyped up the crowd after the countdown. We broke the record.
Then they did the same thing at the chiefs, then did it again here. We didn't win.
They tested all game for both teams.

I very well could be mistaken. I remeber them telling us they were going to record. I thought it was a countdown, maby not, its been a while. They never did the count down here. They did flash signs saying 12 man pride. This video you posted was from Sept 15th in 2013, the first time we broke the record against the Niners. The Chiefs then broke the record in October. We then took the record back in December vs the Saints. Similar setup, no countdown. The Chiefs took the record the next year in 2014. There was talk of Volume 12 bringing Guinness back again but as far as I know that never happened.
Again, I was at all of these games. Not sure whether you are misremembering or just have your story mixed up, but you are incorrect.View attachment 77820

I remeber them doing this recording as the game was not in action. Thats why blitz was there. I remeber it was cringe chearing randomly for this guy as he hyped the crowd. It was not organic.
I was sitting on the 50 yd line, second row, behind the 49'ers bench. So yeah, where I was there were plenty of 49'er fans, but we still outnumbered them by probably 4-1. I've found that Rams and 49'ers fans are willing to pay a lot more than we are for tickets at Lumen. It's a mini-vacation for them and for many, probably the only away game they are going to, so it makes sense. Can someone who actually attended this game comment if there were that many SF fans in the crown?
