I feel bad for Charbs. I also hate that we’ll be missing an excellent blocking back on top of his running skills. I do believe though we will be ok. K9 was our best runner in both games against the rams getting 67 & 100 yards wile Charbs only had 37 & 32 yards.

Whether they choose to bring Holani back from IR or roll with Jones and or Akers, I think we will be fine as far as being able to spell Walker from time to time. As far as blocking goes, we have several TEs and a FB if we need them in 3rd and long situations.

Well that sucks donkey balls. I was caught up in the win excitement and other games and the Charbs situation kind of escaped my mind. Wow. I just wasn't expecting a season ending thing. Okay. Walker's going to have to carry a bigger load, and we're probably going to change our running scheme a bit. But, in the spirit of the day, we shall overcome.

This does move RB up the priority list in next spring's draft. A day two pick there now wouldn't surprise me.

So bummed for Charbs. I know he'll be fine, but I just can't imagine getting this far, then having to watch from the sidelines. Brutal.

Another reminder that walking off the field under their own power doesn't mean they avoided serious injury.

I bet Shaheed would be nasty on play action passes
and he wouldn't have to block.

What a bummer for Charbonnet and the team. Also Walker just does not block as well as Charbonnet. Much more explosive but not nearly as good at blocking.

Plus I expect to see stunts and blitzes from Shula. Those pick-ups will be key to protecting Darnold.
