I’m more concerned about losing his blocking than I am going without his carries.
Doesn’t get recognized on the regular for blocking but he’s pretty darn good at it.

Although not ideal both Barns and Saubert make excellent blockers and we can use our FB in situations as well.

This is the type of situation where Kubiak earns his money by scheming this correctly.

Activate Akers. He will have incentive to beat his Old Team.

It is terrible for Charbs but
Unfortunately in this league, it is next man up, let's see what you got.
I'd imagine this is the route they go.

Akers, with a chance to get some revenge on his old team? I’m sure Akers isn’t any less motivated.

I think with Akers in the mix for some carries as well, along with Jones, K9, will still get his rest in between snaps, but, this will be K9s time to shine as I am sure he has been waiting all year to break out especially with Charb been taking all his goal line TD carries!

K9, it’s his time!

Walker - 221 rushes for 1027 yards

Or

Charbonnet - 184 rushes for 730 yards
Yards don't always tell the story. I feel K9 dances around the line vs just hitting the hole. I was very impressed with how he just ran on Saturday so if he keeps hitting the whole with acceleration then we should be fine.

We just lose some of our "downhill" running attack between the tackles, unless someone else can step up and provide some of that for us. It just calls for a little more creative scheming that doesn't put too much added pressure on Sam.

I would think that if a RB has more carries and more yards per carry that would be fairly telling of a stat? What doesn’t tell the whole story is the eye test of a fan. Is it frustrating when he gets down behind the los? Yes it is but he is the most talented running back in this team.

This isn’t saying Charbs isn’t good only that his style is different and his results aren’t quite as good.

It's the red zone where it (has) matters this season. As evident by the usage and TD ratio

Looks like it’s time to start utilizing those TEs a bit more in the underneath.

charbs absense will be missed in the blocking. dude is an excellent blocker compared to walker. the last few weeks he's killed it on just getting the ball and running. no dancing, no stuttering, just plant foot and run...

his blocking on the other hand.. he needs to work on, big time.

Very good point. Charbs was very underrated in those passing downs where they needed him to pick up a free rusher.

Hopefully they have someone on the roster who can step in and be serviceable at that. Maybe Saubert or Outz??

Except we have had a lot of issues in the red zone so I don’t really consider that a positive for Charbonnet. And yes I do like the guy. The main difference between the two is their style. Many seem to think that you can only hit the home and go and those guys are the ones screaming to cut Walker when he gets tackled for a loss. Charbs is a good north and south runner. Walker is a great outside runner.

Walker will break more big plays and Charbs will be more steady.

People have their preferences but to say Charbs is our best running back when he statistically isn’t deserves to be called out

me personally, i think they're the best DUO we could want for a RB combo. They balance each other out where they're weak. Ie Charb can pass block, Walker no to much, Charbs like you said north and south, Walker outside. Charbs steady grind, Walker big play burst.
Outside Holani.. idk who else can remotely fill Charbs role to compliment Walker. MAYBE Akers?... Velus Jones in Chicago was swapped to RB then was released and bounded around the league for a few yrs. Wasnt all that impressive in college tbh either. So im intrigued in what they do here.

We need Holani back.

Isn't he eligible to come off IR?
