I don't think there is a big enough bench of coaching candidates to really fill all these vacancies. And with the slow movement so far, teams must really be sitting on the divisional playoff teams to get their guys. And now they have to wait at least three weeks to get into either the Seahawks or Rams staff, and that's a long time out.

I heard someone mention Belichick for a replacement with Daboll as OC.

A couple of my friends and I were just talking about this possibility yesterday, and how it might explain why McDermitt was so irate about that call in OT, one that was reviewed and IMO correctly called, that resulted in an interception. IMO he saw how Harbaugh was fired and Tomlin resigned, perhaps under pressure, and how with that opportunity to win the game disappearing, it resulted in him facing the firing squad.

He just couldn’t win the big games unfortunately for him…I do think is he’ll probably get another HC job this cycle if he wants it

Oh my. This is so wrong. It was amazing the Bills got this far with the roster that they have. McDermott is one of the top coaches in the league, and I can't imagine that the Bills are going to find someone who will improve the situation in Buffalo.

I looked up McDermott's record in Buffalo. He's 98-50 over 9 seasons (.662). Why would you fire someone like that? And even with Josh Allen as QB, are you going to lure a top coach who has other choices to live in western New York, in friggin' Buffalo?

This is not going to end well for the Bills. Terry Pegula turns out to be just another dumbass billionaire owner.

McDermott is also still young. He's only 51, even though he looks like he's 66.

Let's hope to God that McDermott doesn't end up in Arizona.

My instant reaction was Arizona will do everything they can to sign him… Hopefully the prospect coaching Cam Ward or maybe staying in division with the dolphins turns his head

I can see Baltimore reaching out to McDermott for their head coaching vacancy. The Ravens pride themselves on a solid defense. While the Bills defense struggled this season, for the most part they were one of the better defenses in the league under McDermott.
