Pittsburg has gone a Lil wonky with free agent veterans. Aaron, DK, MVS, Ramsey, so on......
I can only think of 3.I find it mind boggling that this is only the 4th coach for the Steelers in my lifetime.
I always thought Tomlin “unknowingly” getting in the way of that return was hilarious.I always liked Tomilin, while hating the Steelers.
Or a complete rebuild team like the RaidersIf I was Tomlin, I wouldn't take a job with a team that didn't have something resembling a franchise QB in place, or at least a team that had a young QB with the potential to be one.
By 4 I’m assuming I’ll be alive when they hire the next one. Hoping I’m not wrong.I can only think of 3.
Crazy .By 4 I’m assuming I’ll be alive when they hire the next one. Hoping im bit wrong.
Crazy .
I'm in my 50s and the Pittsburgh Steelers have had 3 coaches .
I think Seattle has had 8?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong . ( I'm sure someone will)
I'm counting on you being alive when the next stiller coach is announced
We haven't done too bad here. Holmie went 10. Pete went 13 (?). I'm hoping Mike hangs around a while with success. If you count interim then I believe it is 8. I really think that’s not horrible for a 50 year period the you hear about the Steelers and their success with so few coaches and it’s kind of flabbergasting.

Like Pastorini for Stabler. It had gotten very stale there (sort of like the last few years of Pete in Seattle). Still, I'm surprised. Maybe Tomlin to BAL and Harbaugh to PIT? That would be some pro wrestling storyline type stuff.
I agree. In comparison, Tampa Bay has had 13 coaches in the same time .If you count interim then I believe it is 8. I really think that’s not horrible for a 50 year period the you hear about the Steelers and their success with so few coaches and it’s kind of flabbergasting.
As is being speculated elsewhere, I think there's a good chance that what's happening here is an amicable split between Tomlin and the Steelers. It's been pointed out that Art Rooney did not try to talk him out of leaving, and he's probably happy with the outcome.
I think Tomlin is a damn good coach. I'm not sure he's as good at talent evaluation. If it was his decision to go with DK Metcalf over George Pickens, then that is the sort of decision that will sink your ship. If it was GM Omar Khan's decision, then the front office isn't helping him build a decent roster.
Dayyyyummm.
I did not see him stepping down. Fired maybe - but stepping down?
So will he coach again or no?
