Absolutely hilarious. His worst game this stretch was the cardinals game where it was over by halftime and Kubiak stopped throwing the ball. Dude is going to get an absolute monster contract soon.

I think he gets the single season yards record, he's straight ballin' out.

The RB Johnathon Taylor of the Colts is also having a fantastic season
Yes, but he isn't doing anything that hasn't been done before. JSN needs one more game for sole possession of the most, consecutive 75-yard plus receiving games. He is on track for the most receiving yards in a season ever.

He is also 23 yards per game ahead of his closest competitor.

And he's all of 23 years. We have him on a 5-year rookie deal. The sooner they extend him the better, imo.
At the minimum, they COULD (not saying they will) tag him twice.

Mike Salk, who is a known idiot in these parts, is talking today about not wanting to extend JSN. I agreed with him when he didn't want DK getting a huge deal. But JSN? A 23-year-old WR who might be the best in football already? JSN is so good, teams scheme to slow him down and it just flat out doesn't work. How many other WR's in the NFL can do that? Not many.
You legit can't fix stupid, but Salk has taken it next level today.

If he keeps this pace up, he's the MVP. Nobody wants to see another QB win it.
If he sets the record, he will definitely be the NFL Offensive Player of the Year, an award that isn't quite so QB-centric.

JSN does also have a shot to win MVP if he sets the record just because there is no clear QB candidate for the award this year. The early favorites were Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones, and they've fallen off a bit, and Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen's and Patrick Mahomes' teams aren't winning as much like they usually are. I think the QB votes get divided between Jackson, Allen, Jones, Darnold and Mahomes and JSN walks away with it.
