Very unsatisfying win.

I felt more encouraged after last week’s loss than I do after this win.

We absolutely made a shit team look competitive.

This should have been a blowout, possibly a shutout.

Why is it so hard to see that Cam Ward had a very good game against us? Yes, we didn't play all that well, but he scrambled out of our clutches several times and made plays. It was impressive. There's only a couple of QB's in the league with that kind of athletic ability.

I’m not taking anything away from him.

None of that means anything to me when I’m evaluating what my team did/didn’t do.

I have expectations here, and that is for us to beat the bad teams decisively, stay in the game with a chance to win against the good teams.

I was just really impressed at the plays he made, the first downs he came up with. We would have had several more sacks and defensive stops had it been most QB's in the league who couldn't have escaped our rush.

Exactly this. Wins create expectation. I think we’d all agree, we are in a better situation than what we were last year. We are still in the ‘I don’t know how good we are’ phase. Let’s ride it and see how far we go. Not many people gave us a hope this year. Love watching my team win!
