I would like to see some breakdowns on the amount of “pressures” and “hits” Sam was under.
I’m certainly concerned about Sam in big moments, can he truly be “Clutch”?
But…..

Although I was frustrated and didn’t watch as closely as normal, it sure felt like our O-line didn’t play as well as they have been.
Maybe there’s more to yesterday than Sam not being able to handle the big moments?
Olu? Hope Zabel is ok

What can they do better?

Legit question…no sarcasm whatsoever.

They look pretty damn good to me.
I don’t think the rams really moved the ball against us. We just gave it to them in opportune situations. Their defense is what surprised me. But honestly the stupid turnovers is what really surprised me

4 picks from Darnold? Missed FG in the end to win?

And you all wonder why I don't want to watch these games in real time.

I didn’t watch either. I just checked the live ESPN feed and saw 3 picks and literally another one appeared while I was checking. I said f*** it and turned my computer off and went back to watching a movie

I totally dig that the vast majority of you are saying that yeah we lost but it wasn’t a shit show. We held our own, obviously defensively. I hate to hear that Sam had 4 turnovers. But the overall collective impression I am hearing is that it wasn’t an embarrassing loss on any level. I’ll watch the game now just to see for myself how it all went down.

Victory comes next week against the Titans. 8-3.
Terrible picks. Led to most of the rams points. Definitely fixable

The INTs made it tough to watch, but it was still an entertaining game and I still see a ton of room for improvement. We haven't peaked yet and I wonder if the Rams have.
Kinda hard to peak when your bad ass starting left guard goes down. My expectations have dropped greatly for this season because of that and our QB chokes against solid teams 🤮🤮🤮

My funny response: have you not seen our KICKING game? (Our new thicker kicker has made his PATs, but Rams have not attempted a FG in the two games we’ve had him. Karty was missing PATs and FGs and getting kicks blocked before him).

Serious response: It’s been fun to watch this season develop and each week seems to have new things. Specifically, McVay seems to be developing new Offensive schemes and trying them out differently (especially with the multiple TEs). Feels like he is in the middle of his process this season, not the end.

ETA: remember Jordan Reed? McVay was his TE coach and hasn’t had the TE ability to play around with on the Rams until now. I think he’s just beginning on this.
Don’t care about your f***ing Lambs, I really don’t. Bye 👋

The picks by Darnold were not totally his fault.
Uhhh . . . they were at least 90 percent his fault.

But I agree with the other things you say. Seahawks had a huge advantage in time of possession (38-22), outgained them 414 yards to 249. Seahawks rushed for 135 yards despite being behind all game. Rams would not have scored 21 points were it not for the interceptions giving them such a short field, over and over again.

I want to say I put the blame 100% on Darnold, but the defense gave up some huge plays, tacking was unbearable to watch at times....a lot of cleaning up to do...not the game i was expecting, but still keeping high hopes moving forward. I'm going to say yesterday was a major fluke of disasters in the making.

Wasn’t two of them tipped and one Arroyo ran a really bad route. The jump pick though… that was Spaz DarNold

Only reason it was close was because of the defense. Imo they played lights out vs a Rams team that's been playing very well offensively. After 4 picks they could of just given up....

I was watching the game and it was obviously on a slight delay because the Fox Sports app bombarded me with the final score as we were lining up for the kick. I was so annoyed. I know it doesn't change the outcome, but at least let me have a little hope for those few moments. It was just such an annoying game from start to finish: Sam's picks, Zabel's injury, the punt that pinned us down inside the 1 to start the last drive, the missed FG w/ spoiler. Just really incredible the amount of BS. Yet, were somehow in a position to win?! I'm highly annoyed but still somewhat encouraged.

I regret starting this thread. Not for the responses but for my initial OP take. I was salty after hearing about the 4 picks but today my head and hopes are still sky high for this team. We will be likely 11-3 when we face the Rams next.

I agree…our defense is nasty.

It was their defense that surprised me. I don’t remember them being all that great on that side of the ball.

Funny how similar it was to last year's loss. We dominate and the QB turns it over and they win. The interesting thing is tho, how they couldn't move the ball against us in the second half. That great offense was shut down!

The O line was under pressure all day, Darnold was pressured on like 45 percent of his passes first half and 55 percent or more second half, 2 picks were helped by a bad route ran and a hold on a route of the receiver. the jump pass one was bad, the other was due to pressure and not able to follow thru. Credit their defense some, also help from Refs. Not making excuses, but saying it's not all on Sam.

I don't know how much the Rams blitzed yesterday but the Hawks have been top 15 this season in pass pro but bottom third in pass pro against the blitz.
