I also watched the game after it was over, but I resisted looking up the score, and I'm glad I saw the game and experienced all the highs and lows. (It felt mainly like lows, tbh.)
My coach told us long ago, if you can't stand the pain of losing, you don't get to feel the joy of winning.
This game had us on the edge of anguish/euphoria the whole time. I think there was a time when watching this kind of game would have tortured me, but now I'm better able to watch with more fascination and less disgust.

@AROS would say life's too short to put yourself through this misery, but I say life's too short to miss a big game like this, no matter the outcome.
