He definitely has some demons to exorcise. Maybe a few more after this game of rinse and repeat for him.He had the issue which he admitted a few years back...are worried the ghosts are gonna return and stick around? Its a serious question given his history. Thoughts?

The way MM guides him through it is the way he did it over the last 2 drives of the game - put the ball in the defenses hands and run the ball. I think Sam is capable of playing good ball against defenses that you can for certain scheme an advatage against. And he can certainly on occassion throw a beautiful ball. But this league is full of QBs who when the clock is sped up and success require split second decision making, do what Sam did and has done. After this, one has to consider that it’s real.
Not Eeyoring here. We’re 7-3.
But, was this why Minnesota let him go? The argument could be made…
Again….We’re going to bounce back but, after a 4 int game…there’s concern. The nature of some of those INTs, like throwing into double coverage, was not the first part of the season Sammy D were accustomed to.
I think MM is the perfect guy to guide him into ‘bounce back’ mode.
True statement. He still has to clear the big game hurdle. I haven't given up on him, but it is what it is until it isn't.
We saw Sam under pressure and he's NOT CLUTCH. On to next week and onto next year with a new QB
He had that look about him all gameHe has that "deer in the headlights" look perpetually after he makes these mistakes...
