I always want the Hawks to win, that never changes. But this one? I want this one bad. This game has that same energy as when the Chicago Bulls finally broke through the Bad Boy Pistons. You could feel the shift. You could feel something bigger coming. And once they crossed that line, a new era was born. I know it’s just week 11, but I haven’t felt this potential in a while. This matchup feels like a true statement game, the one we’ve been waiting on, the one that could change everything and set the tone for what’s coming.
Let’s take that next step.
GO HAWKS!!!!

Like you, I always want the Hawks to win. But if we should come up short in a closely fought contest, I wouldn't write this team off at all. It may well galvanize them even more, make them even more dangerous.

I don't see much of a downside in this game, unless we just lay an egg, which I don't think will happen.

I'm with you! I remember when we owned the NFCW, and then the Rams really sucked one year, and then Aaron Donaldhappened! Then...they won a game late that got them in the playoffs and we're told that they would be facing the Seahawks, and Donald screamed "That's exactly who we want!" because we had punked them so many times, and they wanted revenge.
And like Beast Mode's "Over and over, and over and over...!!" "And smash them in the mother***ing face," they beat us, over and over and over...it's time for our revenge! Let's spank those boys and put them back in their place!

Let’s face it. This IS our statement game of the year. Must win? Nope. Mathematically not even a little. Lose you are oh, boo hoo 7-3.

But it’s not about record right now, is it?

Again, not even a little.

This is about statement. This is about shutting the door of all this Rams business. This is about ultimate supremacy not just in the NFC but the NFL.

This game could close the door on anything other than this team is Super Bowl bound.

Beat the Rams and I would almost bet with sheer certainty and conviction we are taking this thing to Santa Clara in February.

No, a loss doesn’t mean our dreams of championships are over. Hardly. But a win?

Win and the narrative of the season changes for everyone (except us Hawk fans who always thought this was possible.
Hawks become favourites to represent the NFC in Santa Clara.

Can you win the game in the fourth first quarter?! Yes, and you can lose it by getting down 17-0, I think we have what it takes, to be the team delivering these deficits, this would be the defining moment of the Mac daddy era.

This is the biggest game for us in years, I've been running into walls all week thinking about this game, this game has been my whole week, I have lost sleep thinking about this game, I haven't had much of an appetite all week because of this game. This is a MUST win game in my opinion, and I hope our boys showout tomorrow afternoon... 🤞🏻🤞🏻

This game is huge. They've owned us for a while. Time to break thru. It feels like we should blow them out, but they seem pretty similar in stats and all. Plus they have beaten some good teams and we really haven't so much. Either way it's probably a three game set with the last one being the most important (NFCCG).

If we win this game against the Rams, it will qualify as a signature win, lays down our marker on the NFC. So yeah, I'm excited, too. Like I said in another thread, if we win, I'll be pounding my #12 River Dog jersey on my chest with both fists.

The last time I can remember being this excited for a Hawks regular season game was in 2013, our Lombardi season, and two games come to mind: The MNF game at home vs. the Saints and the last (or next to last?) regular season game at home vs. the Niners in 2012. I watched the Saints game at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Kennewick, and when Michael Bennett got that strip sack TD, the place exploded, with bar maids, bar tenders, everyone screaming at the top of their lungs. I'm hoping that we get that magic back.

This takes me back to the Martz era of the Rams, God I hated that guy, but Faulk and Bruce had our number, Bruce I didn't mind as much as Faulk, he gloated and rubbed it in post-game. When we came to the NFC West they were the top of the heap, we climbed that Mountain after a couple years and held the division for around ten years, helped get Martz Fired, and had a great run.

This feels a lot like that, just don't have the players there that rubbed me the wrong way like back then or the Coach. Martz or Fisher, yes I could get my anger vibe on, McVay it's hard too.

Yea.... I just hope ******* Oluwatimi holds up. He's the wildcard IMO.

I"m not sure, the run game is so much better with him. Some talking heads have suggested that the injured center may not win his job back, we will see. Never the less, I"m so nervous as hell, Rams at this point are a proven team, we are up starts and the darling of the media. I just hope we kick their butts.
