I don't want to call out names because I'm not trying to point fingers but I had to laugh a little when I came across an article today that had one guy say (and I'm sure it won't take too much digging to find out) "...thinks Sunday's NFC West showdown comes down to how much pressure the Seattle Seahawks can generate on Matthew Stafford and the Rams."

Well no crap Sherlock! Any more profound insight to titilate our senses?

Truly not trying to harp on the guy but it's really systematic of the media by and large. Stating the obvious because they don't have anything else to say that is any smarter than the rest of us fans as a collective. This is why I really value the Baldingers, the Jeramiahs, I mean real football minds that know their stuff. I watch their YouTube and shows for that very reason.

I am no X's and O's guy. Not even a little. I'm the guy who has to constantly look up what "Cover 0" or "12 Personnel" or other terminology means on the regular. But I am smart enough to know things like, "In order to achieve success, you need to get after the quarterback and make him uncomfortable."

Yeah, sometimes the Capt. Obvious stuff can be a tough watch. "If you don't pressure Stafford, he'll have success"

Wow, amazing stuff. I would have never known that.........

"This is 4 down territory"
"Turnovers hurt the team"
"Need to hurry up here, they have no timeouts"
"You need to block for your Quarterback"
"You gotta' outscore your opponent"

If he would have simply added “by the front four”, I would have no issue. If you watch the Rams this year, nobody has made Stafford sweat without blitzing. The dude is too talented, aware and experienced to only allow pressure by blitzing.

If Murph and Big Cat can make him feel heat without a ton of S or LB help, I think we see a different Stafford than we have seen so far this year.

Speaking of announcers, hard to believe that Fox isn't sending their 1st team, TB12, Erin and lil baby KK, to do the best game of the year so far, Seattle Seahawks at SoFi. Fox is sending the GOAT/team to call Minnesota hosting da Bears. Maybe they will call out the 2 diva QB's (well, one for sure) in that game?

Complete and utter BS. However, like schedule releases, I believe the announcers are set for each broadcast in April. However, like games later in the season, they should be flexed like games are.

Reminds me of the days of the Booger Cart and analysis where he’d pop off profound takes like “the team that scores the most points tonight I believe will win the game.”

If the Seahawks fail to score more points than the Rams, they'll have a real uphill battle winning this game.

I still think the all-time award for funny commentary should go to Al Michaels for a Peyton Manning/Colts game. It was 3rd & long, the Colts protected Manning with 9 blockers, whilst the opponents rushed 6 players with 5 in zone coverage. Michaels commented how amazing it was that Manning could find a receiver down field under such pressure.

I almost want to say "Corbin", there is a guy who somehow
is out there and I don't get how he ever is.
