That was an insane catch for a CB. He looked like one of the top WR's going up and getting that.
Okada is a safety. ;) Still a fantastic catch, getting his feet down like that. I was a little worried on the replay. It looked like his elbow might have hit out of bounds before his foot, but they gave to him. Close, but called it our way.

Darnold. He has absolutely exceeded my expectations. Also, the jump from year 1 to year 2 by Coach Mike. VERY impressive.
After being wrongfully optimistic about this team so many times, it feels really good to have my optimism about MM's 2nd year jump validated so far.

For me it's the success of the draft class. Look at who contributed yesterday:
Zabel, obviously.
Emmanwori. That one armed tackle while a blocker had an arm around his neck was awesome. 6 tackles yesterday.
Arroyo. Got his first TD.
Tory Horton. 4 catches on 4 targets, 48 yards, 2TDs.
Ouzts. Hard to quantify his contribution from the box score but he's a key part of getting the run game going.

It's so important that our top 3 picks are regular contributors and that we're getting meaningful production from several picks in the 5th and later rounds.

I still can't wait to see Rylie Mills in this defense. Probably won't be until next year but he should be another solid contributor
