You knew it would happen, but in the spiringtime of skatt’s career, you thought there might be a few more games of him being the rookie specimen that almost seemed too good to be true.

My girl’s new Adopt-A-Team as of a couple weeks ago (outside Seahawks and her Oregon Ducks) was the Giants after they beat the Eagles a couple weeks back. She/we thoroughly enjoyed watching Dart’s moxie and the battering Ram known as Skattebo in that surprise win so she was really looking forward to watching them today.

And then the ugly injury happened. Really deflating for their team and fans. If any of you know GMFB’s Kyle Brandt, he’s going to be absolutely verklempt tomorrow morning.

Sounds like he will be back next season. Rooting for the kid. Just a shame.

Career altering injury...I'm sure he will play but like Chris Godwin it'll be a long road back.

Yeah I really dig him. Dart is devastated. Those two were the Giants dynamic duo. I watched the replay. Awful. Just, awful. Ankles/feet aren't supposed to point that direction.
Seems it was an illegal hit.. hip drop tackle.. leading with his hips and dropping on his knees/ankle.

I am expecting Skattebo to play next season so far they are saying he has a fractured and dislocated ankle with how advanced sports medicine is I expect a full recovery. Dak Prescott had a similar injury

This is the same as Fred Warner’s injury, which isn’t considered career ending. He should be ok.

Baun should be hit with a steep fine for his hip drop tackle, and multiple infractions of the rule should lead to suspension. The rule exists to prevent exactly this sort of injury.

He’s a young pup. He will be back.

I am concerned that he was hospitalized immediately and will stay in Philly for the surgery, which sounds more like tyreek hill than Fred Warner. Tyreek has a dropped foot from suspected nerve damage. Hopefully Skatt doesn’t have that.

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Regardless, he has youth on his side and amazing doctors so I won’t be the least surprised if he is ready to roll next season.
