Rooting for the Dodgers. I live in LA and so the Dodgers are my second team behind the Mariners.

Plus the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I find the Blue Jays quite hate-able after the ALCS.

Interesting to see the Dodgers having the same issues as the Mariners in the first game.

I'm a Marlins fan, so baseball irrelevant

I was hoping for the Ms, but grew up 4 hours from Toronto and always have had a soft spot for the Jays

I don't hate the dodgers like many, but don't particularly like them either

I enjoyed that 6th inning. Go Jays!

Um. Jays didn't just beat the Dodgers. They crushed them. Loved the Yesavage Ohtani strike out to start the game.

I know many hate Springer because hes a cheater but yet Tom Brady is most idolized sports icon in America. He cheated on more than one occasion....so what's the difference?

Judge was tipping pitches during the Yankees series and never got busted because, you know - Yankees and all.

Funny thing is that lots of folks around here hate the Jays, and I get that.

But the irony I kinda find in the situation - Seattle is to NFL as Jays are to MLB. The press all week leading up to the series basically crowned the Dodgers - kept the narrative going that the Jays were walking into a buzz saw. The publicity over the course of the season on the 'lack of respect' for the Jays REALLY REALLY reminds me about how we talk about coverage of the Hawks by everyone and South Alaska and such.

Just a different flavour - Doesn't really bother me that much at all, whether it's the Hawks or the Jays - I just kinda find the similarity amusing. I don't have an axe to grind - like I said a week and a half ago - just let the bats do the talking.

The bats will have to continue to yell to win this series imo. Anyway..its fun to watch no matter what. I get why Mariners fans would have some hate but dont get it otherwise.

1. You're whatabouting in an attempt to defend a cheater.

2. No difference as far as I'm concerned. They're both cheaters.

That's not considered cheating, and it's not breaking any rules. If a pitcher is tipping his pitches and the opposing team catches on to it, there is nothing that says they can't relay what they are seeing to their teammates. It's also really far from using a hidden camera to steal signs, like the Astros did, and Springer participated in
