He has some great athletic moves turning sacks into TDs. This article makes a lot of sense

Silly to be talking about this now, but encouraging that he's playing well enough for it to be in the national discussion. If he can avoid bouncing balls off helmets and start pulling rabbits out of hats instead, he has a shot.

According to AI, through week 5 this season:

1760115777221

The Daniel Jones thing is kind of crazy to me. Not sure if fluke or legit.

He's playing at an MVP level for sure, and if he continues this pace I don't see why he couldn't win the award given he was also a candidate last year aswell.. I mean people can't deny what he's doing at this point it's not a fluke doing this with 2 different teams.

Seriously, if Sam Darnold hadn't come out of nowhere last year, he would have received far more consideration for MVP. Consider the comparison with last year's MVP, Josh Allen:

Screen Shot 2025 10 10 at 14625 PM

Of course, Allen had more rushing yards, 531 vs. 212.

Of course, I'm not saying that Sam Darnold should have been MVP, or that Josh Allen didn't deserve it. (And if you're looking at stats, Joe Burrow's season last year was even more impressive than Darnold's.) I'm just saying that if there wasn't all this talk about Darnold's success being attributable to Kevin O'Connell and his system, Darnold would have gotten a few more votes.

Well I think if Sam continues at this pace, people will stop with the Kevin O'Connell system nonsense 'cause he's doing it without his system, without Jefferson, without Addison, and without Hockenson.

Darnold is playing on an offense that hasn't lost a starter or key rotation player. That doesn't in any way detract from his playing exceptionally well so far. Let's see what happens if/when he loses some of that help.

Are you TRYING to will that into existence or something?

We have enough issues Defensively right now.

Why would you throw bad karma out there like that with this post? WHY?

I mean don't get me wrong...I am confident Sam will do just fine as he's finding OTHERS to throw the ball to instead of just JSN all the time (if you hadn't noticed) but come on, bro!
