Just want to say that if "something" happens, I will cast full blame on flv2 for putting "that" out there in the universe.

Just saying. 😠

(still can't believe he posted something like that....smh)

Some of them throws today were a thing of beauty. They were right on the Mark receivers in full stride.

With the Jags feasting off turnover this year I was concerned going into this game. If "bad Sam" would show up, this was the week. Nope he was in control all game. Only had trouble on a couple of third down blitzes in the 4th

He’ll never win it, but the dude has been balling.

Quick shout out to our O-Line because the passpro has been greatly improved over the past decade +.

I call this vindication for Sam after playing like sh*t last season with the Vikings against this same team where he pulled a Geno in the redzone all game long.

Him beating them with such an efficient outing has to be so cathartic for him.

MVP award is a Regular season award anyway.

The true award involves the Lombardi trophy.

He was efficient today, but the defense did the heavy lifting today.
Agreed.

Although Kubiak (or maybe MacDonald?) went too conservative later on in the game.

They could've been a bit more aggressive to put more points on the board.

But that said, we needed a win desperately today.

With literally no running game. Hes been playing at MVP level. But he won't get it unless he continues this through out the season

Even if Sam scores four or more TDs a game every game for the rest of this season, they'll look at the October 12 game vs Jags where he threw "only" two TDs and say nope, not MVP worthy.

Again, I couldn't care less about the MVP award.

Just get this team to the playoffs and (hopefully) win a game (or two....or three) and that's its own reward.

If the team keeps winning, he'll get into the MVP hunt, like he was when he led a winning team last season. There are going to be people who want to see him hold it together when the lights are brightest before coming completely on board, and that's probably fair given his history. If the Rams had traded Stafford in the offseason and signed Darnold, we'd all be saying the same thing everyone else is saying about him now.

As long as Seahawks east keeps playing like our twin (basically both had an 11 point win today, and sack total was 6 vs 7) I don’t see how Mayfield doesn’t get it with the head to head win.

I'm still marveling at the anticipation, pinpoint placement, and touch on his TD to Kupp. That was an 'elite QB' throw.
