Baker is good enough to see and take advantage of those opportunities.

Although I have no actual idea, I believe MM was worried about letting the back ups play “man”.
I believe he planned what he felt gave us the best chance but it wasn’t enough.

Maybe some man, and a few blitzes would have made a difference maybe it would have been worse.

I appreciate MMs defensive mind, I certainly couldn’t do better.

I think most of us predicted early on, that the last team to have the ball would win.

Obviously it wasn’t us.

J/K, but I wouldn't say the D was completely bad. Despite the injuries and ineffectiveness, that skeleton crew still made enough plays to give the offense a shot at a game-winning drive.

Actually, it WAS us but Kubiak inexplicably called for a Pass play on a 2nd and 2 when we had all 3 of our timeouts remaining.

It was a great game. These things happen to all the teams. We lost to an extremely good team even without 2 stars. Baker is just that guy. It’s not like we’re the Cardinals who got beat by a disaster of a team in Tennessee. The chiefs basically laid a goose egg in the Super Bowl of all places.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint. We overcame a lot on offense. A lot of questions got answered, we just came up a tad short. Someone has to. The defense had issues but it can be a learning tool going forward. We had a lot of people on defense go out. Years past we lose big in these games. We were in position to win even without how poorly the D played. We are a couple bad breaks from being 5-0. This team has some room for growth in every aspect but we are a playoff team. I hate a loss but this team is legit.

Had they made ANY stops earlier in the game....ANY....this game would've been won with Sam Darnold being on fire.

I'm standing by my statement. The D made multiple stops and the team had a chance to win in the 4th quarter. I don't see that as a "complete egg" by that squad (maybe 90%, though).
