Seattle has had their share of top-tier receivers over the years, so when someone like Doug talks about JSN potentially being one of the best ever, damn, that's huge:
Pretty sure JSN is significantly faster than Largent ever was, and with what looks like similar shiftiness and short area quickness. He's showing great hands so far, so yeah if he can stay on the field for 10 years or so, he could approach Largent greatness. When Dougie speaks you should listen. I've always said that JSN has the tools to get where Largent is, or better.
Doug Baldwin was good. Tyler Lockett was better. JSN is on a whole other level. He's a star.Man. Doug Baldwin was really special. I hope JSN is listening. ADB was spitting the TRUTH.
Absolutely. I don't know much about JSN, but Baldwin and Lockett are both really great human beings - a wide receiver tradition for us now.So he's saying that JSN is "pedestrian"? All of our best receivers are.
@Maulbert - I'd actually put ADB above Lockett. Not dissing Tyler, but I consider ADB to be in our top few receivers all time. I wish he'd played longer.
I disagree. Doug got a traffic ticket onceAbsolutely. I don't know much about JSN, but Baldwin and Lockett are both really great human beings - a wide receiver tradition for us now.
Statistically, they're close, but Lockett lasted longer. And he managed to pass Brian Blades for 2nd place in team history in most receiving categories. (Behind Largent, obviously.)So he's saying that JSN is "pedestrian"? All of our best receivers are.

Largent spent much of his career in "run first" offenses. For a run first team, that is high praise.
