I went there several years back. I flew into Orlando and had a few days to get acclimated. Found a room in Jax not too far from the ferry across the river and took it back to my side of the river late night. We had just finished the game and some of the places were thinking about closing up. I got there early and they stayed open as the crowd just kept streaming in. That was the trip from heck that due to my mistake, a 18 hour day of flights. I think with that game being later in the year, there was frost on the window too in Daytona Beach. But cant remember if it was there or one of the 2 nights near Jax. I think I went by taxi to the stadium. and other to get back.

Wife and I will be there! Flying down to Jax on the 10 and staying 5ish days. Lived there for a few years for work and it's our home away from home now.

Section 241.

Not sure where we'll be pre-game. Likely, at Intuition Aleworks or at Tailgate.
5 days in Duvall county is too much, I hope you got some fishing charters planned.

Don’t judge all of Florida by that mess up there 😂. Jax beach is nice but there’s not much else there.

Hopefully you guys see another Efficient Sam Darnold performance and nothing like last season with the Vikes (*psst* he wasn't good in that game). 🤞

Lol. I relocated with the wife 'n kids to Ponte Vedra for a few years while working at NAS Jax... we all absolutely loved Jax. I'd move to St. Johns in a heartbeat, if work allowed.

As a native from WA living down there I never understood the hate other Floridians have for Jax. Way less traffic and an adequate beach? With an intracostal waterway so vast I can take my boat to about 30 fish camps or breweries and pull right up to the dock? What's not to love.

The extended forecast is calling for a seriously WET game in Jax next weekend. And at 4pm (local time)? That's the typical rainy portion of the day this time of year.

I'm sure the game will be a whole lot of K9 and Charbs vs. Etienne and Tuten.

Yes, it usually is torrential for like 45 minutes and then the sun comes out like nothing happened. You can almost set your watch by it.

Sounds like a fairly decent sized group.

Yall better all do a .net meet up and lubricate/pre funk a bit.

I’ve done this multiple times over the years and it’s always good times.
Always been worth the little bit of extra effort.

Yes, PreFunk. That is how I got my avatar. The lady painted me. In New Orleans. Next to the brewery. Not too far from the French Quarter. Or was it Jaxville? So many Prefunks ago. LOL
