I accidentally saw it once on replay, and it reminded me of looking at my right foot under my motorcycle as it bounced off my leg three times before the bike finally slid away, after I got t-boned by a kid that ran a stop sign. Foot pointing forwards, then backwards, then forwards... Mine was a tib-fib-heelbone break (shattered is more like it) with further bad stuff you don't want to hear about. And I didn't really want to see any replays of mine, or his, or Tyler Lockett's similar-to-me leg break, either.

So how did you do afterward? Were you able to ride again? Can you walk now?

I have a permanent limp and use a cane for walking any distance, my right leg is now 3/8" shorter than the left so I put leather wedges in the right-side shoes, and I have handicapped parking. Also, it's been 21 years now so I guess the pain isn't going away. OTOH, I returned to riding after 3 years of rehab and such, and I used the insurance money to quit work and go to college (3 degrees and a PE license now and I'm an engineer instead of an electronics tech). Lemons into lemonade, and all that. At least all the hardware in my leg is non-magnetic so I don't set off airport scanners!

At first they told my friend (who's a pastor among other things) to prepare my family because I might not make it through surgery. Then they said I would probably lose my leg. Then they said I probably wouldn't walk again. Then they said I wouldn't be able to resume kung-fu (I had just earned my black belt). They were right about the last one! It did take me most of a year to not need my wheelchair. I feel bad for anyone who has to go through all that.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Hill is back in 2026 he is a very high level athlete and with today’s medical science it is possible even at his age

I am sure the Dolphins will cut him at some point and possibly a team will take a chance with a very team friendly prove it deal

Not only did he tear his acl and mcl, he also suffered damage to a nerve causing him to be flat footed. And he will be 32.

I thought being flat footed was something you are born with and have zero arch. If the nerve damage impacts his ability to flex his foot then it might slow down his get off a bit.
