So much truth here. lol

Seahawks are benefiting from dumb decisions of the Vikings front office.

I'll preface this by saying, I don't care for or really understand PFF grades, lol.

I could only find info at PFF, but they have him ranked about the 48th best guatd out of 95 total. Compared to Bradford who is sitting around the low 70's.

Overall "offensive grade" (whatever that is) for both players are pretty similar, within 10pts of each other.

If Seattle replaces their RG with just about anyone, I reckon it'd be a wash between them and Fries.

Carson sure is throwing accurately today (7-7), but the Vikes are still getting their asses handed to them thus far. If they couldn't start McCarthy they really did make a stupid blunder letting us have Sam.

I thought this was about their coverage of DK, I mean letting him go
80 yards for a TD.
Who let's that happen?

Yeah I don’t see it in McCarthy. Wentz is leaps and bounds better than JJ. Just a matter of time until Jefferson demands a trade

I don’t think PFF grades mean anything. I have seen some recent QBs that have ratings that had me scratching my head

They made a catastrophic mistake when they drafted McCarthy with the tenth overall pick. There was nothing leading up to the draft suggesting he should be a first round pick, let alone a top-10 one. That set in motion everything that followed.

was saying this the entire time before the draft. Not NFL ready. May never be. Really stupid move. Wentz aint gonna get it done.

They’re running game was strong with Corrum.

JJ benefited from that…more so than a lot of college QBs do from a multi-pronged attack.

I’ve never thought he was ‘all that’ either. I’m a Buckeyes fan so, we tend to despise Michigan players, coaches, cheating staff members, the team colors, their mascot, fans, people that live close to the stadium, Detroit, Lansing, etc. Basically, the entire shitty state. The worst thing about Michigan aside from the Wolverines is that Michiganders live there.

I digress…when the Vikings let Sam walk…for a second I thought McCarthy must really be the shit. Just for a second…

And it wasn't just Darnold. They had Daniel Jones on their roster, too, and made no real effort that I saw to retain him either.
Look at them both now. JJ may well turn out to be a good QB. I don't know. But Minny coming off a 14-3 season wasn't exactly a team you'd say was in a re-build mode. They really pushed their chips into the pot on JJ.

The only way JJ turns out to be a good QB is if he ends up on a team with another Harbaugh on it.

He's just not all that good.

And yeah they pushed their chips into the pot on JJ with a SuperBowl roster (or so they believe) when what they should've done was run it back again with Sam.

That team right now has at least a 2-year window to get it done and they got rid of the one QB (Darnold) who could help do that.

Now that 2-year Window is going to be wasted because they drafted an injury-prone backup QB.

Nice Job, Kwesi (Vikings GM). 200
