I caught a foul ball from julio which I gave to the kid behind me and my wife caught a hot dog from heaven so it could have been worse. So many Dodgers fans there. Guy sitting next to me was Japanese and seemed to only care about the game any time ohtani went up to bat, had proper professional cameras for it.

What the heck was Cal doing behind the plate last night? Let him DH the last two games. Putting him behind the plate makes no sense at this point.

Winning the last two games is meaningless. Let's rest the arms, and make sure no one gets injured. And bat Cal leadoff to let him maximize his ABs for a chance at 62.

Well, they're now locked in to the #2 seed, so yeah, I guess these last few games don't matter in that sense. However, I'm starting to feel a little concerned about finishing the season with 3 games that "don't matter" followed by 5 days off. I hope they don't lose whatever edge or mojo or whatever they've been playing with for the past few weeks. Not sure they can turn it off for 8 days, and then just turn it right back on for the ALDS.
